Richard Paul DeMoss Sr. 86 of Thornton, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born January 11, 1932, in Rowlesburg, a son of the late Elman and Jessie Bucklew DeMoss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine DeMoss on March 16, 2013. He worked at the Thornton Brick Yard, City of Grafton, and was a Coal Miner. Richard loved to be outdoors, fishing, hunting and farming. He loved to be with his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.... more

Robert Lee Taylor, 81, of Grafton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood, WV. He was born in Taylor County on June 16, 1936, a son of the late Walter and Evie (Rifer) Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by three children: Robert Lee Taylor, Jr. of Thornton, Wanda Taylor and fiancé Terry Myers of Grafton, and Cindy McKinney and husband Scott of Kingwood; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
