Daniel 7: 25: And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…KJV

Do you feel like you are being worn out?  Are you tired of hearing Christians being made fun of or mocked?  Are you tired of hearing God cursed by those who have no clue who He is, without even trying to understand?  Maybe you’re tired of being mocked yourself, or maybe your head is aching from hearing all the stuff blaring at you over the television, threatening to destroy your way of life, could that be the case?

Well, Daniel warned us this was coming.  The antichrist spirit is already at work in the world.  Many do not see it because their eyes are blinded.

II Corinthians 4: 4:  Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.  They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.  They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.  NLT

So, when you see all this posturing and line-drawing about, changing names, changing ideas, changing gender, changing the laws and rules, as Daniel said, then you can understand that those speaking “know not what they say.”  They are blinded by the very entity which seeks to destroy them.  They seek to change laws and times. The people perceive they will rule over the common man, and in so doing feather their own nests, however; the malevolent force of Satan is behind this and his only goal is to usurp the power of God and receive all the worship instead of God.  Same old story that got him kicked out of heaven. He is power hungry and feeds the hunger for power weaknesses of people to control them.  These people seek to control us, and all the while they are the ones being controlled.

Everyday I hear more and more people waking up to what’s really going on in the spiritual world. Some of them aren’t Christians, they are just decent people who want to live a peaceful life. Our God is a God of peace.  The Prince of peace.  The devil has nothing peaceful about him. The Scripture tells us that God is not the author of confusion.  If your life is full of chaos, God isn’t behind it.  It is the enemy of your soul. The Bible also tells us to submit to God, and resist the devil, and he will flee.  James 4:7.

Last Sunday I challenged our church if they aren’t reading their Bible to commit to reading one chapter a day.  That isn’t a lot. But if you are faithful for one month you will see a change in your life and reading the word won’t be such a hard thing to do.  Give it a try. After all, it’s within those pages that we can find rest from this chaos that is wearing us out.  Until next time!
