Jesus tells us in his word that he is a jealous God, and that he will share his glory with no one period he must be number one in our lives. Secondly comes your family. Family is important to God. Even when Jesus was hanging on the cross. Jesus commanded drawn to behold his mother, and he commanded his mother behold thy son. in other words, they were to take care of each other. And thirdly comes the church.
Yes, we need to be faithful to the church. We are to work in the church, pray for the church and walk in the doctrine of the word.
We are to love one another as Christ loved the church. We are to cherish our families. We are to honor God and also honor our church with our faithfulness. Forsaking not the assembly of ourselves together as we see the day approaching. We must spend time with God and with our families. That’s what God expects of us. This has been a problem in the church for years, and it has taken us years to learn this.
Take your families to church, spend time with them, pray with them, enjoy them while you have them, take them to heaven with you. And As for the church, we are to labor together. We need to walk in one accord, love each other, pray for each other and support each other when we are down.
We must hold up the hands of our preachers when they are down. They are in battle for your souls and for your warfare. They intercede for the sheep. When you hurt, they hurt. That’s the way God intended for it to be.
We must do it God’s way. Not the way of man. That’s why the churches in this shape that it is in because we haven’t done things gods way. Take time for God today. Take time for your family. Take time for your church. Not only on Sunday morning, but when the church doors are open. Remember Christ first, family second, church third, and you will be victorious through Christ Jesus.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
