Weaver ready to lead at First Community

GRAFTON  — First Community Bank’s Grafton branch recently welcomed a familiar face back to its banking family, this time, as Branch Leader.
Seth Weaver, a Grafton native and former First Community financial assistant, has been tapped to lead the Grafton banking organization committed to serving as Your First Financial Resource in Taylor County.
Weaver completed an associate’s degree in business technology in 2015 at Pierpont Community & Technical School, while working at FCB, where he earned the honor of Financial Assistant of the Year in 2014.
In 2015, he went to work at a credit union as a financial services representative for the next few years and embarked upon his next educational goal — a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fairmont State University. Weaver will reach that milestone in 2021.
Overall, Weaver said he’s excited to be back at First Community Bank, where he can “work with the great people of Grafton, while serving my hometown.”
Market President KD Coleman said the First Community Bank team anticipates great things from Weaver.
“We are proud to have Seth come back home to First Community Bank. In his short time back, he has already showed outstanding leadership and pride for our community.”
Taylor/Upshur Community Banking Manager Mary Gorey agreed this week.
“It’s wonderful to welcome Seth back to our FCB banking family,” Gorey said. “We fully expect all of our branch leadership to do great things, but it’s especially sweet when we see local natives excel within our ranks.”
