Taylor County reports 1 previous confirmed case has been deemed a probable case, new positive confirmed case brings total count to 128

County case totals now 13 Active, 107 Recovered, & 8 Deaths

Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 128th positive case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving a Taylor County resident.

The patient, who is in their 40’s, is currently in isolation at their home. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 13 active Covid-19 cases.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
