Taylor County reports 1 new confirmed case of COVID-19 today

Brings the total county case count to 157 - 8 Active, 141 Recovered, & 8 Deaths

(October 19, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 157th new positive case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving a Taylor County resident.

The patient, an adolescent, is currently in isolation at their home. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 8 active Covid-19 cases.

We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on US Rt 119, Monday thru Friday from noon to 2pm, with 100% FREE Flu Vaccinations (NO BILLING, ZERO COST) on Tuesday and Thursday at the testing site.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
