Taylor County records 124th and 125th confirmed cases of COVID-19

Brings county case count to 12 Active, 107 Recovered, & 6 Deaths

TAYLOR COUNTY—Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today, Friday, September 25, announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 124th and 125th positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents.

The patients, who are in their 30’s and 40’s, are currently in isolation at their homes.

Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway, with community spread suspected.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 12 active Covid-19 cases.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
