Taylor County has 119th confirmed case of COVID-19

Brings county case count to 7 Active, 106 Recovered, & 6 Deaths

TAYLOR COUNTY—Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today, Friday, September 18, announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 119th positive case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving a Taylor County resident.

The patient, who is in their 80’s, is currently in isolation at their home.

Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 7 active Covid-19 cases.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
