Outbreak count increases to 32 total, as Taylor County has 85th and 86th confirmed cases of COVID-19

Brings county to 36 Active, 49 Recovered and 1 Death

TAYLOR COUNTY—Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today, Tuesday, August 18, announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 85th and 86th positive cases of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents.

The patients, one a resident at Rosewood and the other a staff member at Rosewood, are currently in isolation at Rosewood (resident) and their home (staff).

Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

The Rosewood outbreak county is now at 32 (25 residents and 7 staff). This brings Taylor County to a total of 36 active Covid-19 cases.
