GRAFTON—Crews were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 50 West, Thursday morning.
According to Captain Randy Durrett, of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, an individual was traveling west on Route 50 toward Bridgeport, when he struck an icy patch, causing him to lose control of his 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and hit an embankment.
The individual was taken by ambulance, to United Hospital Center in Clarksburg for a minor head injury. Durrett reported that no citations were being issued for the accident.
