GRAFTON---The Church of the Covenant is seeking volunteers for a Renaissance and Reformation Fair, which is planned to be held in the downtown Grafton area, during late August.
The event will be held in observance of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, while also celebrating the 150th anniversary of the church’s building, along with its’ 45th anniversary of the Federation.
“The festival is meant to be a celebration, with, for and by the community. So, the church is looking for any and all input, and collaboration in planning this event,” stated Joe Solberg.
Solberg shared that the first meeting, in regards to the fair, will be held today, at 5:30 p.m., at the Collaborative Family Resource Network, which is located at 5 Hospital Plaza.
“We are going to need a lot of hands, help and input to make this a big success. Anyone, and everyone, is invited to join the meeting to help us plan and celebrate,” added Solberg.
Solberg went on to explain that the focus of the meeting will be to create an outline and plan for the event, along with seeking volunteers to help pull everything together.
