Calvin K. Mayle

Calvin K. Mayle, 79, Inverness passed away Aug 15, 2014 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice House in Lecanto. Mr. Mayle was born on May 21, 1935 in Bridgeport, West Virginia to the late Leonard W. and Ruby (Tichenor) Mayle. He served our country in the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. Following his retirement, he was a painter and wall paper craftsman.

Calvin was a member and Deacon Emeritus of the Ft Cooper Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Walker Mayle of Inverness; 2 sons, Kelley (Mellonie) Mayle, Deep Water, MO; Lenny (Rebecca) Mayle, Henando; 3 daughters, Cindy (Tim) Perkins, Elizabethton, TN; Tami (Bob) Mayle-Carmine, Newport News, VA; DeVonda (Russ) Bridges, Elizabeth Town, NC; 4 Brothers, Tom Mayle, Fairmont, WV; Charles Mayle, Galloway, WV; Richard Mayle, Flemington, WV; Stan Mayle, Grafton, WV; 2 sisters, Freny Harris-Minardi, Clarksburg, WV; Sheila Mayle, Canton, OH; 9 Grandchildren, Duke, Jesse, Michelle, Cody, Ashley, Bobby, Kevin Dale, Jacob, and Zack; 9 Great-Grandchildren, Corey, Joey, Zoey, Charlee, Piper, Violet, Grayson, TaylorAnne, and Lyla.

Calvin’s life will be celebrated on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Cooper Baptist Church with Pastor Marne Palmani officiating. Military honors will be rendered following services. The famiy will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Ft Cooper Baptist Church, 4222 So. Florida Ave. Inverness, FL 34450
