Happy Veterans Day

Thomas Bartlett, III. ________________________________________________________ COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE EXPRESSES VETERAN APPRECIATION - Taylor County Clerk Georgianna Thompson’s office gathered photos of family members who are Veterans to put together a display in tribute to their service to our nation. The display can be seen on the front desk as soon as you enter the clerk’s office in the Taylor County Court House.

GRAFTON- At a recent Grafton City Council meeting, Mayor of the City of Grafton G. Thomas Bartlett, III, issued two proclamations. The first proclamation was in honor of Veterans Day.


WHEREAS, The Congress of the United States has declared the eleventh day of November of each year to be a legal holiday and designated it as Veterans Day in honor of our veterans and as a day dedicated to the cause of world peace with honor;


IN WITNESS THEREOF, I hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed, the official seal of the City of Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia, this 5th day of November, 2013.”
