Francis Lucas Warder, Jr., 66, of Fairmont died suddenly Thursday morning October 17, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Grafton on November 13, 1946 son of the late Honorable Francis Lucas Warder, Sr. and Virginia Sinclair Shaw Warder.
Francis was an attorney in the Clarksburg and Fairmont area for many years. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1964, West Virginia University in 1968 and the West Virginia University school of Law in 1971.
He served in the U.S. Army and also served as past commander of the 459th Engineering Unit. He was Baptist by Faith.
He was a member of the American Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association and a former member of the Harrison County Bar Association.
Francis is survived by his wife Sharon Findley Warder of Fairmont, two sons and a daughter-in-law Christopher Trent Warder of Morgantown and Matthew and Liza Warder of Annapolis, Maryland.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Ellen Fairfax Warder.
Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Sunday from 6-9:00 P.M. and Monday from 1-9:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Baptist Temple 430 Morgantown Avenue with Rev. Dr. Holley Faulkner officiating.
