Vandals cause close of long-standing holiday display

Posted: Monday, Oct 14th, 2013

GRAFTON – Tracy and Joann Bolyard of Railroad Street were rudely awoken around 2 a.m. Friday by their poodles barking at vandals. The vandals had apparently entered their property from Railroad Street, walked to the center of the yard and started cutting holes in their Halloween inflatables.

For the sake of the enjoyment of the all of the children who enjoy their display each year, the Bolyards encourage everyone to please notify the Grafton City Police Department if they hear of who did this dastardly deed.

“My neighbor’s son going to be so crushed. I even made a tomb stone this year with his name on it for him,” stated Joann.
