A pain for drivers; a plus for residents

Posted: Monday, Aug 19th, 2013

GRAFTON- The bridge located at the end of Turner Road on Wickwire Road in Grafton has been removed. New construction has begun on its replacement, but for the Taylor County school bus operators who have students that live on Turner, its been a challenge deciding how to accommodate them.

We are not sure when the bridge will be complete. We were told that it could be four weeks or more, maybe less, depending on the weather, noted Thorn.

Although, a new bridge is greatly needed for residents in the area and will be a tremendous improvement for travel, drivers are encourage to be cautious of traffic traveling down Wickwire and on Route 310 at the end of Turner, while construction continues.
