U.S. Marshals apprehend fugitive in Grafton sexual assault case

GRAFTON- According to a press release by the Grafton Police Department, during the morning hours Saturday, June 15, the Grafton Police Department initiated a sexual assault investigation after receiving a complaint from communications of a sexual assault involving two female juveniles, ages 14 and 16, who were forcibly restrained and held against their will, while at Crislip Motor Lodge located in Blueville.

Grafton Police Department Lieutenant Dave Holcomb and Taylor County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Dayton Mayle had the crime scene secured by law enforcement and obtained search warrants for the two rooms at the lodge. The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and gathered forensic evidence.

Anyone with information as to Victor Xavier Ramos Rubio – aka Savi or Sava, (alleged or alias) whereabouts should contact the authorities by calling the Grafton City Police Department at 304-265-0101.
