A two million dollar fish caught at Tygart Lake?

Ed Grimes of Grafton caught one of Cabela’s “Fish for Millions” tagged Small Mouth Basses in Tygart Lake Wednesday morning.

GRAFTON- There’s a Two Million Dollar Fish out there and Ed Grimes of Grafton, may have caught it!

Grimes who has been fishing in Taylor County waters for over 60 years, strolled out onto the shores of Tygart Lake Wednesday morning to enjoy some “line time,” when what to his wondering eyes should appear, but a tag-finned fish on his line reeled near.

A small mouth bass tagged with the Cabela’s “Fish for Millions” website and tag number surprised Grimes. After taking the fish off of the line, he checked it in at the Corps of Engineers office located beside of Tygart Dam.
