Margaret A. Garletts, 84, of Tunnelton died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her home with family by her side.
She was born June 10, 1928 in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Harley and Bessie Jeffries Miller.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James W. Garletts; two sons, Ronald L. Garletts and wife Alice of Navaree, OH and Richard Garletss and wife Jackie of Kingwood; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Martin and husband James of Grafton, and Kathy L. Bryan and husband Keith of Fairmont; two brothers, Junior Miller of Morgantown and Herbert Miller of Massillon, Ohio; five sisters, Virginia Wheeler of Canton, Ohio, Emma Byrd, Helen Osturm, Barbara Barnett, all of Morgantown and Ruth Sheets of Aliquippa, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Miller; two sisters, Grace Teter and Donna Mae Miller; a granddaughter, Becky Kegley and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Kirby.
Family and friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood today from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to p.m., the funeral hour. Pastor Bruce Miller will be officiating.
Interment will follow in the Shay’s Chapel Cemetery.
