GRAFTON – At 3:36 p.m. Saturday, the Grafton Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire at 605 Beverlin Alley, just south of Ramsey Street. The first unit on scene reported heavy fire at the rear of the house.
A family of four was at home at the time, and escaped without injury. However, one injury was reported when a firefighter suffered a slip and fall ankle injury. The Taylor County Emergency Squad transported him to Grafton City Hospital, where he was treated and released.
A rekindle at the site was reported at 7:45 p.m. and one Grafton engine responded briefly, and was back in station at 8:07 p.m.For the complete article see the 04-24-2013 issue.
