McCollam wins fourth-straight Grafton Five-Mile Run

DAVID MCCOLLAM Five-Mile Run Winner!

GRAFTON -- David McCollam, of Bridgeport, won the 38th-annual Grafton Five-Mile Run that was held here through the streets of our town last Saturday afternoon. It only took him 24 minutes and 47.1 seconds to complete the course.

“This was great weather, 40-some degrees, dry, and nearly a perfect day for a distance runner,” McCollam said, after completing the course. “I like this kind of weather much better than last year’s, when the temperature was in the 70s.
