Kari Fawcett earns First-Team, All-Big Ten Conference honors

GRAFTON -- Grafton High School’s Senior wing-guard Kari Fawcett earned First-Team, All-Big Ten Conference honors when the coaches released their awards for the 2012-2013 girls’ basketball season earlier this week.

Another Lady Bearcat was honored, as freshman wing-forward Hannah Griffith was chosen as a Second-Team selection.

The Big Ten Conference Player of the Year is Bridgeport’s Miki Glenn, and her coach Dave Marshall, is serving as the Coach of the Year. Together, they guided the Lady Indians to the Class AA girls’ basketball state championship.
