Kochka named Deputy Chief at City Council meeting

GRAFTON-“Legislation created a new rank for all city police departments. In determining who would be promoted to that position, I was told to ‘go with your gut and go with your heart.’ … I chose Mike Kochka. It was only fitting that he becomes the very first Deputy Chief of the City of Grafton,” stated City of Grafton’s Police Chief Robert W. Beltner at a regularly scheduled city council meeting Tuesday.

The Mayor of the City of Grafton G. Thomas Bartlett, III recognized and congratulated Kochka with a heartfelt handshake.
