Jerry’s Restaurant and Lounge owner Cindy Harr (right) is shown above as she views security camera footage with employee Anita Bolyard. Bolyard was one of two workers that arrived at the establishment yesterday morning to find doors busted and registers pried open. Harr accredits her devoted staff, along with her security system, for helping law enforcement’s apprehension of Gary Allen Ramsey.

GRAFTON – Cindy Harr, owner of Jerry’s Restaurant and Lounge, notified the Mountain Statesman early yesterday morning that someone had broken into her business over night. Harr reported that the suspect, Gary Allen Ramsey, was still in her business when employee Tammy Sheme reported to work. “I watched him on the security film from the same time period Tammy was coming into the building for work,” explained Harr.

Ramsey took $143.33 from the registers, destroying four of them, damaged two doors and one window. The estimated value of damage done to the establishment was $5,000.

“This was crazy,” commented Harr. “I’m just glad that none of my people were hurt.”
