TENNERTON -- The Grafton High School Girls’ Basketball Team started scoring early and often against the home-standing Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buccaneers here Monday night on their way to a 61-24 Big Ten Conference victory.
“This was one of our best games of the season,” coach Spadafore said. “We ran the floor well, and played some solid defense. Everyone got to play some basketball, and they all scored some points on the evening. This was a nice way to win a ball game.”
PHILIPPI -- The Grafton High School Lady Bearcats beat the home-standing Philip Barbour Lady Colts, 50-43, during a close and well-played for the most part Big Ten Conference girls’ basketball game held here Wednesday night.
The Lady Bearcats will entertain their archrivals -- the Bridgeport Lady Indians -- in Grafton High School’s Scotty Hamilton Gymnasium at six o’clock this evening for Grafton’s final regular-season game on the 2012-2013 schedule.
