Wrestling Bearcats win three out of four dual matches

GRAFTON -- While taking part in the second-day action of the Viking Smash Duals Wrestling Tournament last Saturday, coach Rod Auvil’s Grafton High School Bearcats won three of their five matches.

The Bearcats were not allowed to make the trip to Petersburg on Friday for the first rounds of this two-day event, after weather conditions forced the closing of the Taylor County School System. But, they made the trip into the mountains on Saturday.

The Bearcats will take part in the Big Ten Conference Championship Wrestling Tournament starting today, Feb. 1, and continuing Saturday, Feb. 2, at Bridgeport High School.
