Bradley E. Nay, 62, Grafton, WV died Saturday, Nov 17, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer with his brother Joe at his side. He was born on December 24, 1949, a son of Lyla E. (Workman) Nay of Ravenswood, WV and the late John E. Nay.
Bradley is survived by two children: son, Kevin Nay (Paige) of Rochelle, IL and daughter, Rebecca Nay of Chicago, IL; two granddaughters, Peyton, and Wakley; five grandsons, Wilson, Waylin, Weldon, Weston and Walker; three step children, Richard Bolyard and Albert Bolyard of Grafton, and Chris Bolyard of Lorraine, OH; three brothers: Gray Nay (Becky), of Athens, OH, Larry Nay (Sharon), of Ellsinore, MO, and Joseph Nay (Kim), of Somerville, AL and one sister Celia Hegwood (James) of Waupaca, WI; his uncle, Thomas Workman; his former wife Rita Hickman; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father John Nay and wife Valerie “Jeanie” (Robb) Nay.
Bradley attended Grafton Senior High School and then joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served in Vietnam.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard McDonald officiating.
Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the VFW Memorial City Post 3081, Taylor County Post 12 American Legion, and the D.A.V. Chapter 24 and the US Marine Corps Kilo Company 325 from N. Versailles, PA.
