Teresa Ann (Reed) Gay, age 60 of West Wilford Street, Grafton, WV passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the Grafton City Hospital.

She was born on July 11, 1949 in Grafton, daughter of James Ralph Reed and Dolores Ann (Rosier) Reed.

Surviving are two sons, Christopher Allen Pinnell and wife, Deanna, of Independence and Donald Shawn Gay of Grafton; three brothers, James R. Reed and wife, Pamela of Cross Lanes, WV, John L. Reed and wife Patty of Leesburg, FL, and Jerry L. Reed and wife, Debbie of Grafton; cousin and best friend, Pam Rhoden of Buckhannon, WV; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was a dietary aide at Rosewood Health Care Center in Grafton for over 18 years.

She loved traveling, especially to the beach every year with her cousin, “Sue” (Pam). She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church of Grafton.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton from 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jim O’Connor presiding.

At Teresa’s request she will then be cremated.
