Thelma “Clifton” Pilson, age 88, of Rose Street, formerly of Eby Road, Grafton, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at Rosewood Center. She was born in Rowlesburg, WV, July 29, 1924, a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Edna (Auvil) Bolner. Her husband, Wilford “Bus” Pilson, preceded her in death.
Thelma was greatly loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by her family. She loved children and babysitting “her babies”. She also enjoyed quilting, embroidery, gardening, and flowers. She was employed at the former Malone’s Drug Store, and the Cozy Rest Restaurant, where she worked as a waitress. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary, a Methodist by faith, and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church.
Surviving are her loving family members: Wanda Hayes; Sharon and Robert Swick; Mike and Tammy Blake; Tony and Cheryl Antonini; Jamie, Michele, Dylan, and Rudy Phillips; Howard, Krista and Mason Gaines; Eric, Erica, and Tyson Forman; Will, Jealisa, Kayden, and Julian Ivey.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Hayes and Shirley Hayes.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery.

Thank you to her caretaker, Amber Wright, and Hospice for your love and tender hearts, and the 3rd floor nursing staff at Grafton City Hospital for the great care she received there.
