Larry T. “Butch” Vincent, Age 50, of Volga, WV, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was born on January 27, 1963 in El Paso, TX.
Butch is survived by his wife Tina Duvall Vincent, three sons: Butchie Lee Vincent of Philippi, Nicholas Todd Vincent of Clarksburg, and Meshach Clay Vincent of Junior; his father and step-mother Larry F. and Debby Vincent of Flemington; maternal grand-mother Mabel Longwell of Flemington; three sisters: Lorna Vincent-Venter and husband Sarel of Grafton, Tammy Jo Fleming and husband Jeff of Columbia, MO, and Sara Vincent of Flemington; brother Billy Ray Vincent of Flemington; and step-brother Brian Purkey and wife Heather of Flemington.
He was preceded in death by his mother JoAnn M. Longwell Vincent, paternal grandparents Clifford and Maxine Vincent, and maternal grandfather Ed Longwell.
Butch enjoyed fishing and had quite a collection of lures and fishing items. He loved playing the banjo and just about any other string instrument. Butch was also very passionate about pure stock racing and automobiles as well as doing mechanic work of all types. His greatest loves were working at the garage with his dad, his wife, and his sons.
The Family will receive friends at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington, WV on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Palmer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington is honored to be serving the Vincent Family during this time.
