Delores Virginia Coy, age 75, of E. Main Street Grafton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Fairmont General Hospitial.
She was born on December 7, 1937 in Grafton, the daughter of the late Lafayette “Earl” and Denice Virginia (Smallwood) Peters.
Delores was a homemaker, a member of Missionary Society of Fellowship Mission, a member of the Fellowship Mission Church. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and spending time with family and grandchildren. She had very strong faith in the Lord, and loved gospel.
She is survived by: three sons, Paul A. and Katherine Parker, Heaters, WV, Jack Parker, Belleview, Ohio, Mike Brady, California; one daughter, Penny Wright, Sandusky, Ohio; five grandchildren, Stephen Parker, Christopher Parker, Michael Brady, and Dustin Wright; one sister, Charlotte Duckworth.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters, Loretta Jean Shingelton, Norma Lee Morrison, and Freda Peters.
Friends called at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Graton, on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4-8 PM, and Friday from 9 AM until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on today, March 22, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Dolly Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at the Bluemont Cemetery.
