Betty Jane (Goff) Netotea, age 84, of Rt. 3, Grafton (Haymond Community) WV passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was born May 16, 1928 in Seville, OH a daughter of the late Nathan Peter and Hazel Helen (Wymer) Goff Brewer.
She is survived by two sons, Randy C. Netotea and wife, Cindy and Robert E. Netotea both of Rapid City, SD; special daughter-in-law, Peggy A. Goff; five grandchildren, Chris Ann Dodson, Dustin Carter, Jessie Carlson, Travis Goff, and Jennifer A. Lyons; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen V. Edwards of Kingwood, WV, Norma J. Pitzer of Ravenna, OH, and Carol S. Lang and husband, Gordon of Akron, OH; one brother-in-law, Harold “Bud” Gelhousen, also of Akron, OH; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Cornell “Tony” Netotea; two daughters, Susan Carter and Diane Carlson; one son, Gary Michael Goff; and two sisters, Mary E. Gelhousen and Sarah L. Hartley.
Betty was a retired manager of the Elsworth US Airforce Base Exchange in South Dakota, SD. She was a member of the Taylor County Histoical Society. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, going to garage sales, loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens and was an avid genealogist.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Wednesday, November 28, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sue Lowther officiating.
Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
