Paul Leonard Cline, Sr.

Paul Leonard Cline, Sr., age 82, of Wilford Street, Grafton, passed away, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Grafton City Hospital.

He was born in Grafton, March 29, 1930, a son of the late Logan Ray Cline and Pearl Virginia (Gump) Cline; also his grandmother was the late Sarah Ann (Martin) Cline; and his step mother was the late Evaline Cline. His wife of 51 years, Barbara Jean (Frye) Cline, survives.

He was retired from the B&O Railroad where he worked as trackman. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He was loved by all, and will be remembered for his quick sense of humor and jokes. Above all he loved his Lord. He was a Christian by faith and attended the New Testament Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by: five sons, Paul Lenny Cline and wife Tracie, of Grafton, Ray Austin Cline and wife Marsha, of Minerva, OH, Donald Lee Cline and companion Kim, of Grafton, Daniel W. Cline and wife Charlotte, of Grafton, and Joseph Robert Cline and wife Charlene, of Grafton; two daughters, Donna Lou Cline Nestor, of Grafton, and April Ann Cline and companion Lonnie Wyatt, of Grafton; twenty two grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by: a step daughter, Barbara J. Nestor Snyder; and several brothers and sisters in law.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Friday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the funeral home. Pastor Jimmy Johnson and Lay Minister Jimmy Arnold officiating. Interment at the WV National Cemetery.

Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24, and their auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson.
