Phelma Louise Hoover Stutler, age 81, of Grafton passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins.
She was born in French Creek, Upsher County, November 4, 1930, a daughter of the late Claude Hoover, and Opal Arbogast Hoover. Her husband Robert Stutler preceded her in death November 29, 1962.
Louise was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and worked at Hazel Atlas, She did Housework for many, many families in Grafton, and was a good friend to every body.
Surviving are: one daughter, Dale Ann Pilling and husband Bob, Grafton; three grandchildren, Amber Bergstein, and husband Jack, Clarksville, PA, Audrey Pilling and Cole Robert Pilling, Grafton; two great grandchildren, Samara Summers, and Autumn Baye Summers; one sister, Nancy Hoover; one brother, Donald Hoover, Grafton; and by a very close friends, Dana and Elladean George, Billie Bowman and Bobbie Murray; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee Stutler; four sisters, Helen Newcome, Maxine Hoover, Daisy Hoover, and Mae Goff; three brothers, Burl Hoover, James Claude Hoover, and Thomas G. Hoover.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.
Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 with Pastor Sue Lowther, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
