Brenda G. (Farance) Haines, age 55 of Rt. 5 (Country Club Road) Grafton, WV passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born October 12, 1954 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Arthur A. Farance and Leona B. (Arnold) Farance.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis “Buddy” Haines; two daughters, Brandy L. Saltis and husband, Tim of Bridgeport, WV and Brooke L. Veltri and companion Sgt. Ian Davis of Grafton (Harmony Grove Community); five grandchildren Trenton, Tanner, and Kaleigh Saltis, John “J.T.” Veltri, and Hunter Davis; two sisters, Debra S. Jones and companion Bob Barlow and Beverly Jaco and husband, Keith; one brother, David Farance and companion, Stacy Platter all of Grafton; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother who died in infancy.

Brenda was employed by the Taylor County School System where she taught learning disability classes at numerous schools in Taylor County. She was a member of the WV Teachers Association and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Grafton.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 and from 12:00 until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating.

Interment will follow at the Bluemont Cemetery in Grafton.
