Kevin Roy Watkins, age 40 of Rt. 1, (Knottsville Community) Grafton, WV passed away suddenly on Monday, January 25, 2010.

He was born in Morgantown, WV on June 9, 1969 a son of Irving Dale Watkins and Linda Lou (Newlon) Watkins.

He is survived by two daughters, Justina Marie Watkins and Amber Dawn Watkins of Flemington, WV; three brothers, James W. Watkins of Grafton, Russell “Rusty” L. Watkins and companion, Bobbie Larew also of Grafton, and Kenneth D. Watkins and companion, Patty Rumker of Thornton; eight nieces and nephews, Cassie, James, Jackie, Derek, Ryan, Brandy, Kendra, and Jeremiah Watkins; numerous aunts and uncles and dear friends, Rob and Marilesa Yost.

Kevin was employed by the Rob Yost Paving Company of Bridgeport as an equipment operator. He was an avid Mountaineer and Steeler fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

At Kevin’s request, his body will be cremated.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral home on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Don Harward officiating.
