GRAFTON—The Grafton High School boys basketball team, was back in action, last Thursday night, as they hosted the Buccaneers of Buckhannon Upsher High School.
The Bearcats came out slow, and could never rebound from the slow start, and found themselves on the low end of a 72 to 62 score.
The first quarter set the tone for the game, as the Bearcats were outscored 21 to 14.
The Cats played better in the second quarter, as both teams added 14 points to the score board, but at the half the Cats were down 35 to 28.
Coach Johnson must have had some inspirational words at half time, as the Bearcats came out and won the third quarter 18 to 15, but the Bearcat comeback fell apart in the final period, as Buckhannon outscored the Cats by six.
