GRAFTON -- “Taking seven kids to the Big Ten Conference Wrestling Tournament and having six of them place and also finishing one/half of a point out of the top five in the team standings were some pretty good accomplishments for our boys,” said Grafton High School Coach Keith Zebley, after returning home from Tennerton late Saturday night.

Grafton’s Cody Goff claimed a tournament championship in the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Gym by defeating Caleb Kuhn of North Marion on a 4-0 decision in the 126-pound title match.

The final team standings from this year’s Big Ten Conference Wrestling Tournament looked like this: 1. North Marion 198; 2. East Fairmont 190.5; 3. Fairmont West 187; 4. Buckhannon-Upshur 185; 5. Lewis County 110; 6. Grafton 109.5; 7. Bridgeport 99; 8. Robert C. Byrd 88; 9. Philip Barbour 71; 10. Lincoln 62.5; 11. Clarksburg Liberty 37; 12. Elkins 24; and 13. Preston 17.

Grafton will host its annual duals tournament this Saturday in the Scotty Hamilton Gym.
