Taylor Countyís 9-10-Year-Old All-Stars split a pair of games

TAYLOR COUNTYíS 9-10-Year-Old Little League Baseball All-Stars are featured above. FAIRMONT -- The Taylor County Little League Baseball Associationís 9-10-Year-Old All-Stars split a pair of games here at Mary Lou Retton Youth Park last weekend, and their next contest is scheduled for Monday, July 1, in the loserís bracket of the District Five Play-Offs right back here at this same location.

Both Hines and Cole Peschel collected two hits apiece to lead Fairmontís 11-hit offensive attack, while the Nationals were credited with eight extra-base his on the afternoon. Plus, Peschel added a hit-less fourth inning in relief of Hines, who became the winning pitcher in what turned into a no hitter by the Fairmont Nationals pitching staff.
