Baseball Bearcats drop a twin bill at home

GRAFTON -- Last Thursday was a nice warm day to play baseball for a change, as the Grafton High School Bearcats played a twin bill with the Lincoln Cougars and the Poca Dots.

Davis scattered four hits and one walk around six strikeouts through those six innings of work, while allowing two runs, and only one of them was an earned run.

Seven Bearcats had one hit apiece in the Lincoln game, including Peters. Then, Blair and Poston were both credited with two hits in the Poca game to lead the Bearcats to an 11-hit attack, while Peters went three-for-four during that contest.
