Mother Nature has shut down our local basketball season

KARI FAWCETT is Grafton High School’s leading scorer at this point of the 2012-2013 basketball season!

First, I was feeling under-the-weather, missing a few days of action...And, since then, Mother Nature must have decided that I needed a few more days to rest up and get completely healthy once again...But, now that I am fully recovered, this no school and no play policy is starting to drive me crazy.

Not only has it been 10 days since I saw my last local basketball game, but we haven’t even had school...So I can’t even meet with the coaches and catch up on the games that I missed with my bacterial infection of the upper respiratory system, as well as, walking pneumonia.

I had made plans to meet with Grafton High School Head Boys’ Basketball Coach Andy Sorine and assistant coach Andrew Moore on Monday, before the Lady Bearcats tangled with the Bridgeport Lady Indians, to catch up the results of the final three games that I am still missing...But, Mother Nature said no, once again
