GRAFTON - Music filled the air as homemade ice cream and cupcakes filled their bellies at the Grafton CVB (Convention and Visitorís Bureau) second annual festivities Friday afternoon.
Before downtown visitors could see the tents on the Motherís Day Shrine lot, they could here the rhythm and recognize the harmony of Skip and Cindy Mason. Besides their continual devotion to Grafton and its downtown business with Mirage Sound, The Masons keep themselves very busy performing at a variety of area venues.
Grafton City Manager Kevin Stead reported that the CVB made and served at least 10 gallons of homemade ice cream during the ďOld Fashioned Ice Cream Social.Ē
In addition to ice cream, the CVB had available a wide selection of cupcakes donated by Tees Tasty Treats, located at 253 West Main Street Grafton.
