Rotary community service at GHS

Posted: Wednesday, Aug 21st, 2013

GRAFTON - Members of the Grafton Rotary Club spent Thursday, August 15, helping with landscaping at Grafton High School. The annual cleanup takes place before the beginning of the school year. Club members cut, trimmed, and mulched the GHS letters in the end zone at McKinney Field.

President Ed Kerns stated, “Our club is proud of Grafton High School and its students and like to show that pride through activities such as this one.”

Shools is in full swing in Taylor County and scrimmage games have already been held on the newly-renovated McKinney Field. The first home football game scheduled at GHS is Friday, August 30, as the Philip Barbour Colts travel to Taylor County to challenge our Bearcats.
